MY STORY

FUELED BY BURNOUT

Growing up in a household run by two tough New Yorkers in the middle of Northeastern Pennsylvania, I wasn't what you would call an "outdoorsy" gal. Craving the city life, I left home at 18 and moved to Philadelphia to study Fashion Marketing.

After graduating, I moved to New York to work for Diddy (a story for another day) and after a brief time in the fashion world, landed an internship at a very small design agency in Brooklyn. I was granted the title of Project Manager, and my career was born.

After years of agency life, bouncing between New York and Philadelphia, I found myself completely burnt out and craving a change. I said goodbye to the fast-paced lifestyle, quit drinking alcohol and caffeine, and embraced a new health journey through weightlifting and cooking my own meals. It was during this time that I discovered my passion for regenerative agriculture, and my path became clear.

FROM ZOOM MEETINGS TO PROCESSING CHICKENS

I quit my salaried job, sold everything I could, and decided to move to Tennessee. While planning my move, a friend mentioned WWOOF - I signed up, found a small homestead, and was on my way.

I spent a few weeks on a magical little homestead called Quarter Spring Farm and my life was changed. Jumping head-first into manual labor after so much time behind a computer screen was exactly what I needed to reset. Up at dawn, feeding the animals, chopping wood, scooping up goat poop, fixing fences, and cooking from the land. I was hooked.

QSF makes the most amazing goat milk soap directly from the goats on their property. I witnessed and helped in this process and loved every minute. Toward the end of my time at the farm, after a few trips to local farmer's markets to sell the soap, I had the idea to add the soap to their existing website as another source of revenue.

The genuine gratitude and joy that my work brought these farmers made me feel invincible. I instantly knew my skills needed to be focused on farmers and their peers.

THE SILVER LINING OF A GLOBAL PANDEMIC

I spent a year in Nashville, reframing my life and work, taking farming classes, gardening, and figuring out my next move.

After a traumatic car accident, I moved back to the East Coast and settled back into life. The pandemic hit, I couldn't get an agency job, and the stars aligned for me to form my LLC.

I started my business, taking any and all work I could get, trying to build my portfolio and credibility. A year later, I decided it was time to make another big move. I knew I wanted to live somewhere with a solid community where agriculture was not just an afterthought - it was part of the conversation. That brought me to Lancaster County, PA -- rich with history and rolling farmland. I was home.

I pivoted my business, deciding to niche myself even further to focus on farmers, food businesses, and anyone who was looking to shake up our current (and broken) food system and the rest is history.

I am truly living my wildest dreams, and am so happy to have found my place in the agriculture world - using my skills to support my clients and improve their presence in the digital space. I can't wait to see where we all go, together.
